- Fraud prevention & security – Detecting multiple accounts, unusual activity, or potential fraud.
- Legal compliance – Responding to lawful requests from law enforcement or regulatory authorities (Ghana Data Protection Commission, courts, etc.).
- Marketing (with your consent) – Sending promotional offers, newsletters, and app notifications. You can opt out at any time via app settings.

5. Data Retention
- Active account – Data retained as long as your account exists.
- After account deletion – Personal identifiers removed within 30 days. Transaction records anonymized after 5 years. Chat logs deleted after 90 days.
- Incomplete orders – Data retained for 30 days, then automatically purged.

- End‑to‑end encryption for all in‑app chats.
- Two‑factor authentication (2FA) available for account login.
- Regular security audits and penetration testing.
- All sensitive data encrypted at rest (AES‑256).
7. Children’s Privacy
Zhongfei Marketplace does not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 13. If you believe a child has registered, contact us to delete the account.
8. International Data Transfers
As a platform connecting global markets (“Connecting the world”), some data may be processed on servers located outside Ghana (e.g., cloud hosting in Europe or the US). We ensure appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.
9. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of material changes via in‑app notification or email at least 7 days before the effective date. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
